You know how some design trends just instantly transport you to another time and place? That’s exactly what our new wallpaper collection at Sunday Social Club does—and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!
Our latest collection is inspired by the retro charm of mid-century cement breeze blocks, those beautifully patterned concrete blocks that once graced the exteriors of dreamy vacation homes in Palm Springs, California, and Palm Beach, Florida. These architectural darlings were not just functional but also added a dose of playful sophistication to outdoor spaces. I mean, is there anything more iconic than lounging by a pool surrounded by those intricate, sun-dappled patterns?
Breeze blocks were all about letting the outdoors in. Their geometric cut-outs allowed breezes to flow through and light to dance in, creating an airy, relaxed vibe that felt perfectly suited to the easygoing glamour of mid-century modern design. They brought a little bit of magic to patios, garden walls, and even facades, blending beauty and practicality with a laid-back twist.
When we set out to design this collection, we wanted to capture that same blend of nostalgia and natural beauty. Our wallpapers feature bold, geometric designs that mimic the playful shapes of classic breeze blocks, but with a fresh, modern twist. Some of our designs even introduce soft, botanical elements—think tropical florals woven into those iconic grids—to bring a bit of the lush, vibrant outdoors right into your home.
And, of course, we stayed true to our love of nature-inspired hues. You’ll find colors reminiscent of sandy beaches, ocean waves, and lush tropical greenery. Whether you want to create a statement wall that feels like a vintage vacation or bring a subtle, retro touch to a room, this collection has something special for every space.
We hope our new breeze block-inspired wallpapers make you feel like you’ve stepped into a sun-soaked getaway, no plane ticket required. As always, we’ve poured our hearts into every pattern and detail, using our signature eco-friendly materials and non-toxic printing processes. We can’t wait for you to bring a bit of that retro, breezy charm into your own home!
Cheers to creating spaces that feel like a breath of fresh air!
