We couldn’t be more enthusiastic about our next artist featured collaboration. Through the powers of social media, we luckily became friends with the wonderful Stephanie Troxler, the incredible painter behind Little Blue Designs.
It’s no surprise that Jen and I have taken heavy inspiration from retro Florida beach culture when creating Sunday Social Club Wallpaper. Sometimes I even explain our aesthetic as, “The Golden Girls meets Caddy Shack”; but when it comes to creating a truly Florida inspired collection, we wanted to find a creator with a truly authentic view and experience of the sunshine state.
We didn’t have to look far to find Stephanie, a Florida native who currently resides just steps from Anna Maria Island in sunny Bradenton, Florida. When seeing her art for the first time, we fell in love with her watercolor designs and were truly enamored by her interpretation of Florida life and style and how they influence her artwork.
What I love most about Stephanie’s carefully crafted wallpaper assortment that we designed in collaboration with her, is that each print and color tells a story. It was either inspired by a beach trip from her childhood or a favorite memory she’s had with her twin daughters exploring the Florida outdoors. Each design that she has painted comes with a piece of sunny nostalgia.
We hope you enjoy her work as much as we do and that one of the designs from our collaboration spark a little bit of joy when they grace your walls.
